Vertigo 2:07:35 vs.
Memento 1:49:56

The ghost of the dead wife rises up one last time… because her vengeance is at hand.

We see the nun’s silhouette that Judy mistakes for the murdered Madeleine – and Leonard’s wife literally rises toward him, from laying her head on his chest/shoulder to looking more at his face.

402:
Vertigo 2:07:41 vs.
Memento 1:49:59

No versus Yeah, from the blonde.

403:
Vertigo 2:07:44 vs.
Memento 1:50:12

(A long drop and) A sudden screeching stop.

Judy leaps screaming to her death out of terror and Leonard slams on the squealing brakes for something we don’t yet see.

404:
Vertigo 2:07:47 vs.
Memento 1:50:18

God versus the Universe.

The nun cries out to God in shock – and the name “Emma” means “whole” or “universal”.

405:
Vertigo 2:07:58 vs.
Memento 1:50:23

Now, where was I?

Scottie’s returned again to the beginning of the story: standing over a dead fallen body who, while it wasn't entirely his fault, died due to their interaction with him. Leonard’s returned to the previous memory loop where he’s stopped to get his tattoo.
